The unseen warfare

Beloved brother in God, I urge you to always love what is difficult and torturous in this unseen warfare, even if you will not always win. “Be not righteous over much” (Ecclesiastes7:16). This is all; the more you love hardship in the path of all starting the work of virtue and the unseen warfare, the more and quicker you win. So, what do I want to say? If you love the torturous warfare against the passions more than your virtues and success, you will unmistakably gain all good quicker.
