The present work, The Orthopraxy of the Romanian Orthodox Church at the beginning of the 21st century. Missionary and pastoral aspects of father Petru Ovidiu Băgăcian highlights various aspects of the orthopraxy starting from the cooperation between Church and State, on the model of the “Byzantine symphony”. The author discusses the most important aspects of the orthopraxy of our Church after the fall of the communist regime. After a difficult period when the missionary force decreased, the Orthodoxy in the Romanian space became more present, responding to the spiritual needs of the believers, and to the challenges of the contemporary society.
